Why your podcast won't blow up

By Yash Khanna, CEO, Clipt

A podcast that only exists as a long episode is easy for a stranger to miss. People who already listen still play the full episode. Someone who has never heard of the show is scrolling TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts, and they are not going to sit through a 90-minute file from a host they do not know. New listeners meet the show as a clip. The podcasts that keep appearing in those feeds have clippers cutting one episode into several posts and putting those posts on more than one account. Hiring those clippers on Clipt is a Job: you post it, clippers apply, and you pick who cuts the show. On a page built for the show, the clipper keeps the login, you set the name, photo, bio, and link, and Clipt does not own the page. A new page is not a promise of growth. A campaign is a separate product, an open pot, and this post points readers who want clippers working on the show to a Job.
