Jobs or Campaigns? How to Pick the Right One on Clipt
By Yash Khanna, CEO, Clipt
Clipt has two ways to pay for clips, Jobs and Campaigns, and both can now pay per 1,000 views, so the old per-clip-versus-per-view distinction no longer separates them. Jobs means the buyer picks who works for them: they post a job, clippers apply with a portfolio, and the buyer hires and pays a small, chosen team, typically $100 to $800, with a $25 minimum. Campaigns means an open pot any clipper can join and post from their own account, with a minimum of $1,000 and a recommended budget closer to $5,000 for artists and companies. The post explains why campaign size changes not just how many clippers join but how established their pages are, since large pages skip thin pots, and argues streamers, musicians, and small brands new to clipping should start with a Job and refill it rather than run an undersized campaign. Jobs pro: you work with people you choose. Campaigns pro: you work with more clippers at once, for more outreach.
