TikTok Posting Schedule: How Much Is Too Much
By Yash Khanna, CEO, Clipt
Sets the posting cadence for a fresh TikTok account: once per day during the first week to avoid TikTok flagging aggressive upload behaviour as suspicious, scaling to two and sometimes three posts a day from week two onward once the account has trust. Recommends leaving roughly 3 hours between uploads so TikTok has time to distribute and test each video individually. States that a healthy first video should get at least around 200 views, which signals TikTok is testing the content correctly, and that videos stuck at 200 to 300 views usually indicate weak content, retention, hooks, or engagement rather than a shadowban — most people wrongly blame a shadowban when the content itself is the actual problem.
