Make Posts That Get Views

By Yash Khanna, CEO, Clipt

Use the format your campaign asks for.

Clips: the Buy In Method

For streamer clips, podcast clips, etc. Abuse visual hooks to force people to watch the rest of the video. The first 1-3 seconds decide everything.

Open with the strongest visual possible: a shocked face, a dramatic reaction, an intense moment, or something that looks like it's about to explode. This gets the viewer to buy in immediately. Once they invest those first seconds, they are far more likely to stay for the full clip. Higher watch time means the algorithm pushes it harder, which means more views.

No crazy moment at the start? Find the best moment in the clip and open with it, then cut back to how it started. Curiosity keeps them watching.

On top of that, slap aggressive text on the video: "the moment he got exposed," "she said the quiet part out loud," "he finally admitted it." Go as dramatic as the clip can back up. If the text promises something the clip never delivers, people swipe, and your watch time dies with them.

Master forcing the watch with hooks and text and you can farm views and money consistently.

Carousels: mostly brands

Speak to one specific person the entire time. Pick a clear persona (broke student trying to make money online, guy who just got cheated on, gym newbie who keeps quitting, etc.) and write every slide as if you are talking only to them.

  • Slide 1: hard hook that calls them out or promises the exact result they want.
  • Middle slides: build desire. Show the problem they feel, and the steps or proof that work for someone exactly like them.
  • Last slide: clear close or CTA that makes them feel they need to act.

Make it personal and direct. Generic advice dies. Specific person language gets the save, share, and views.

Edits: CapCut templates

Just use CapCut. Go to the templates section, search for popular edit styles or trending sounds, pick one, drop your clips in, and export. Zero real editing effort required.

Once you find a template that works for a song campaign, save it as your own template. Next time the same song or a similar campaign comes up, load the template, swap the footage, and post. Mass produce without thinking.
