# Clipt > Clipt is a marketplace where content creators hire clippers and editors to turn long-form > streams and videos into short-form clips, and pay them based on the views those clips earn. > Creators fund a campaign budget upfront and set a rate per 1,000 views; clippers post to > TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels and get paid for verified performance. ## How it works - Creators create a campaign or apply to a clipper's Clipt Card, setting a total budget and a rate per 1,000 views. - Campaign budgets are prefunded and held in escrow, so approved work is always paid. - Clippers apply with a profile; the creator approves or declines each applicant before they get access to footage. - Clippers submit clip links. Views are tracked and verified, then converted to earnings at the campaign's rate. - Total spend is capped at the budget. A clip that goes viral never costs the creator more than they committed. - Unused budget on a cancelled or completed campaign is refunded. ## Payouts - Earnings appear as "Estimated Earnings" during a 3-day review window that starts when the clip is submitted, not when it is approved. - Analytics verification for fake or botted views runs inside that window; valid earnings then move to the withdrawable balance automatically. - After the first window, each new batch of views starts its own 3-day timer, so earnings keep accruing. - Details: https://www.cliptai.com/help/payouts ## Pricing Full machine-readable breakdown: https://www.cliptai.com/pricing.md - Signing up, browsing the marketplace, and publishing a Clipt Card are free. - Clipt charges a percentage platform fee per campaign.
